TIME, TALENT & TREASURE

We have God-given gifts that are meant to bless the church and the world. "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. "Test me in this," says the Lord Almighty,"and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it." Malachi 3:10 "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Luke 6:38 "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13

LIFE ON LIFE

We each pass on to others the faith that has been passed on to us. "And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others." 2 TImothy 2:2

INVEST IN THE NEXT GENERATION

We are a family that prepares the next generation to take our place. "Give ear, O my people, to the teaching: incline your ears to the words of my mouth. I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings from of old, things that we have heard and known, that our fathers have told us. We will not hide them from their children but tell to teh coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders he has done. He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Isreal, which he commanded our fathers to teach to their children, that the nect generaton might know them, the children yet unborn, and arise and tell them to their children, so that they should set thier hope in God and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments." Pslam 78:1-7

BUILDING BRIDGES TO GOD

We share the Gospel through personal relationships. "Once again Jesus went out beside the lake. A large crowd came to him, and he began to teach them. As he walked along, he saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax collector's booth. "Follow me," Jesus told him, and Levi got up and followed him. While Jesus was having dinner at Levi's house, many tax collectors and "sinners" were eating with him and his discples, for there were many who followed him. When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw him eating with the "sinners" and tax collocters, they asked his discples, "Why does he eat with tax collectors and "sinners"? On hearing this, Jesus said to them, "it is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners." Matthew 2:13-17

THY WILL BE DONE

We trust that God has better plans for us than we have for ourselves. "This then is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one." Matthew 6:9-13

COME AS YOU ARE

We help real people connect to a real God in relevant settings. "So when the Samaritans came to him, they urged him to stay with them, and he stayed two days. And because of his words many more became believers. They said to the woman, “We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world.” John 4:40-42

SPEAKING GOD"S TRUTH IN LOVE

We will present God's Word with love and as the final authority for our lives. "The word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, glory of the One and Only, who came from our Father, full of grace and truth." John 1:14
